Description:

Our ideal candidate will be organized, ambitious, self-motivated, and interested in joining an aggressive sales team. We are looking for an experienced team player that is willing to work in coordination with our design and management team to reach our strategic goals. Candidates that apply should have strong administrative skills, attention to detail and enthusiasm to succeed.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage maintaining and growing existing client base in the defined market
  • Cold call and visit potential customers
  • Qualifying, prospecting and building relationships with potential customers and partners
  • Manage the development and growth of current and new business
  • Reporting to the Sales Manager
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing new and return customers

Truss Designer/Estimator/Project Manager (Click for details)

Sawyer (Click for details)

Sawyer

Under direct supervision, oversees the operation and production of a number of saw types producing materials and parts for assembly into a variety of wood based components.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In-feeds lumber into saw and provides project-specific direction for sawing activities on a variety of sawing equipment; typically, these are standard set up, relatively routine projects.
  • Makes angle and length adjustment to cutting equipment to produce parts on cutting list or batch specifications, ensuring accuracy of cuts.
  • Plans and assigns work tasks in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related production goals.
  • Develops saw skills and experience on different types of saws in order to increase own versatility and productivity for component production.
  • May perform minor adjustments to saws.
  • Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

COMPETENCIES

Truss Assembler/Production Labor (Click for details)

Under direct supervision, oversees the operation and production of a number of tables and other assembly devices producing materials and parts for assembly into a variety of wood based components.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble precut wooden parts to build trusses and similar supports.
  • Move specified precut parts to work area and positions parts in jig by hand or using overhead crane
  • Following supervisor’s’ instructions and blueprint specifications.
  • Places metal reinforcement plates over connecting joints connect parts at joints, using hammer, screwdriver or pneumatic staple gun.
  • Verifies dimensions of precut parts and accuracy of assembly.
  • Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Certification of Compliance with Driver License Requirements

MOTOR CARRIER INSTRUCTIONS: The requirements in Part 383 apply to every driver who operates in intrastate, interstate, or foreign commerce and operates a vehicle weighing 26,001 ponds or more, ca transport hazardous materials that require place carding.

The requirements in Part 391 apply to every driver who operates in interstate commerce and operates a vehicle weighing 10,001 pounds or more, can transport more than 15 people, or transports hazardous materials that require placarding.

DRIVR REQUIREMENTS: Parts 383 and 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations contain some requirements that you as a driver must comply with. These requirements arein effect as of July 1, 1987. They are as follows:

  1. POSSESS ONLY ONE LICENSE: You, as a commercial vehicle driver, may not possess more than one motor vehicle operator’s license.
    If you have more than one license, keep the license from your state of residence and return the additional license to the states that issued them. DESTROYING a license does not close the record in the state that issued it; you must notify the state. If a multiple license has been lost, stolen, or destroyed, close your record by notifying the state of issuance that you no longer want to be licensed by that state.
  2. NOTIFICATION OF LICENSE SUSPENSION, REVOCATION OR CANCELLATION: Sections 391.15(b)(2) and 383.33 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations require that you notify your employer the NEXT BUSINESS DAY of any revocation of suspension of your driver’s icense. In addition, Section 383.31 requires that anytime you violate a state or local traffic law (other than parking), you must report it within 30 days to: 1) your employing motor carrier, and 2) the state that issued your license (If the violation occurs in a State other than the one which issued your license). The notification to both the employer and state must be in writing.
